Artist Statement

Photography empowers me to explore and document beauty that is ever present in nature. I am inspired by observing subtle changes in light in the natural world and continually explore my relationship to it through capturing images.  This process of photography allows me to present my perspective of the world to you.

The landscape images from various adventures around the world, reflects my passion to highlight ongoing changes, patterns, and seasons of life itself.

The botanical series is a celebration of the collective feminine voice, as interpreted through my lens.

The photographic portraiture collection expands on the subtle beauty found in ordinary moments.

I strive to invite viewers into a quiet contemplation—a gentle pause amid the rush of daily life—where the ordinary becomes extraordinary and the familiar is seen with new eyes.

My hope is that by sharing these moments of wonder, the photographs serve as an invitation to encourage reflection and connection with the natural world and to one another.

“ I am so glad you are here. It makes me realize how beautiful the world is.”

–  Rainer Maria Rilke
